Here’s a bunch of frequently asked questions we get, with the answers we usually provide!

WHY is there a new-look Ezitxt?
Answer: Ezitxt was aquired by Modica Group in early 2021. Modica Group has been an established enterprise-level global communications platform for over 20 years. It was always the intention to bring Ezitxt inside the secure boundaries of Modica's own platform, and September 2025 was the optimal time to complete this work. Ezitxt users have been asked to re-authenticate into the new-look platform. Contacts, Groups, Templates, Keywords, Message History (for the past 6 months), Credits (if on pre-pay), and most of the Ezitxt features you're familiar with will be present in the new platform (along with a few extra!)
HOW do I access the new-look Ezitxt?
Answer: Reset your password. If you check your spam folder and have still not received an email, you may require extra support - please complete this form and one of our team will contact and assist you
I'm an API customer. How do I migrate to the new Ezitxt API?
Answer: Reset your password. Then, navigate to the API Configuration page under the Integrations menu and ‘Rotate your API key’. Update your internal systems to send to the new Ezitxt URL using the newly generated API key. Test your connection by sending a message before the deadline
Do my credits ever expire?
Answer: We recommend people use their credits within 12 months and we can retire credits after that period of time.
Can I change the plan I'm on?
Answer: YES, please contact support@ezitxt.com
What payment options do you have?
Answer: We provide two different options.
  1. Pre-paid, purchase bundles of credits and pay for your plan up front via Credit Card. This functionality is currently being managed - once a request is made via Credits & Billing in EziMessage, a team member will apply the credits.

  2. Invoiced out at the end of the month and paid on the 20th of the month follow. If you qualify for this option an administration charge of $20.00 per month will be applied.

Can I cancel my account for a few months if I don't plan to use it?
Answer: Yes of course, by contacting support@ezitxt.com we can swap you to the FREE plan with no monthly charges. Please remember if you're using a keyword that it could be taken and used by another client while you're on the Free plan.
How many characters can I use in a message?
Answer: The standard message length is 160 characters including spaces. However you can go up to 320 characters including spaces, but it will cost double the credits.
Can I send SMS messages to contacts in Australia?
Answer: Yes, we currently have an operation in Australia and can certainly organise this for you. Please contact our Support Team by emailing support@ezitxt.com
Do you provide Email 2 SMS services?
Answer: Yes, Email2SMS is available from the Starter plan up. Once you're on the Starter Plan and the email address you're sending messages from is registered to your account, you can send Email2SMS messages.
How do I get a KEYWORD?
Answer: Please contact your account manager or support@ezitxt.com to request a new keyword be set up. An example of a KEYWORD is: text "HELP" to 226
Where are my existing KEYWORDS?
Answer: Any keywords you had set up in the old-style of Ezitxt have been migrated across to the more secure, new-look Ezitxt. Keywords are a service that we manage on your behalf. To make any changes, please contact your account manager or support@ezitxt.com and we will get that done for you.
Are bounces required for automatic until unsubscription?
Answer: The amount of bounces required for the automatic unsubscribe filter/automation to take effect is three within a six-month period, this amount cannot be altered for specific client accounts.
Can I become a Reseller of your products and platform?
Answer: We have a number of companies who resell our product onto other companies and we'd be happy to discuss options. Please contact our Sales Team by emailing support@ezitxt.com
